# Expanding Box

I’m trying to make an expanding box that expands vertically and horizontally depending on the height/width of content.

I followed the tutorial to a tee in the book “css mastery” but for some reason the top part of my box isnt showing up?? ![](http://www.gotoandlearn.com/forum/images/smiles/icon_eek.gif)

any ideas why?
