# Experienced Flash knowledge needed \<MP3 related\>

Hey,  
I type this script in my first frame of my Flash movie:  
\<embed src=\>“[http://pathto/player.swf](http://pathto/player.swf)”  
menu=“false” quality=“high” width=“300”  
height=“320” name=“index”  
type=“application/x-shockwave-flash”  
go/getflashplayer"  
flashvars=“playList=http://pathto/playlist.xml&ShowPlaylist=1&ShowEQ=1&firstTrack=1&  
initVol=50” wmode=“transparent”  
border=“0” /\>

And it comes up with this error:

**Error** Scene=Scene 1, layer=Layer 1, frame=1:Line 1: Unexpected ‘\<’ encountered  
\<embed src=\>“[http://pathto/player.swf](http://pathto/player.swf)”  
Total ActionScript Errors: 1 Reported Errors: 1

Why is this??
