And i am back once again at another stage wher i am stuck. I need to show a boat exploding. Can anyone please let me know where i can get any tutorials/ source files for the explosion effect??? Any links …anything??? It will be much appreciated .Thanks. 🙂

Hello. I made a game in Java some years ago, and that techniqe works in flash too.
Import a animated gif that contains an explosion (a search on google generates plenty), and it will be divided into separate frames.
I have made a simple explosion animation that you can download and use as you wish =)

Don’t know if this is what you need, but it works with small explosions…

The file here may also be of interest although it looks a bit cheap & nasty compared to Henxon`s.
