# Export flash file swf into a quicktime movie?

How do i export a Flash movie .swf file as a quicktime movie? In the Publishing dialog box there is a .mov option however when I select it, it doesn’t work and instead i get another dialog box saying that

“the installed version of QuickTime does not have a handler for this type of Macromedia Flash movie…”

The same thing happens if I try the export as quicktime?
