# Extending the canvas width (the big grey area)

how do i extend the width of the flash’s grey area( the part of the document that isn’t actually in the document?). I think its called a canvas, but im not sure…
any help would be appreciated

Click on the ‘canvas’ and look at the properties and u can modify the height and width …
or you can go to the Modify menu at the top and then choose Document

it may be sound stupid, but wheres canvas?
sorry if im being stupid…
btw, its not in modify-document…
