# External Preloader Help!?

[size=2]ALRIGHT!! i have been tryin to create a preloader for my external swf’s. So when i click on a button on my main swf. a preloader comes up to show progress of loaded content for the external swf which is then loaded into a MC. I have done multiple tutorials from kirupa & other sites & had no success whats so EVER!  
Does any one have a basic tutorial which will work for my situation. i have tryed putting preloaders on the external swf & it doesnt work when stimulated etc & i have done this tutorial “[http://www.kirupa.com/developer/actionscript/moviecliploader.htm](http://http://www.kirupa.com/developer/actionscript/moviecliploader.htm)” & the progress bar did not even work it just stayed visible on the swf.  
Can any one help me…it would me alot…
