# External SWF transitions

Greetings from the UK!

I am a complete newbie to Flash. I have just completed the [tutorial](http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx2004/transitions2.htm)by Voetsjeba on the above subject.  
Everything, including the transitions, seems to be working well when my movie loads the first time but then after that the buttons do not reload the external swfs the second time around.  
I know I am missing some crucial step somewhere but for dear life I cannot say what it is!

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
