# External swf

Hi!

i need to load an external swf., but only on a button release event.

i’ve followed previous posts advice and used a blank movie clip to load my external swf. into. but this is constantly visible, ie: visible even though i havent clicked on the button.

Please help.

unfortunately, i kept on getting error messages regarding: “loadText = new loadVars();” so i gave up.

And the macromedia tutorials were extremly complicated for an actionscript illiterate like myself.

again, please help.
