# External text w/ css dissapears

I’m using an external text file and css along with a scrollbar. Everything works fine till I start using the styles in my text document and then the text dissapears. Does any know why this would be happening? And my text is supposed to be white, the background of the file is blue.

Here is the code for my scroll bar
