anybody there
how to ask for an alert in flash?
i want to see the value of my variable from time to time while my program is running through alert boxes.
something similar to window.alert in jscript?
i know this is the basic but i need it,not traceable in the flash actionscript ref.

You can use the trace action.
If you have a variable called _myVar_ you can use that way:
```auto
trace ("Value of myVar: "+myVar);
```

next time i go to paris [SIZE=1](never went)[/SIZE] i´ll let you know 😛 😛
i was watching a show on discovery channel the other night, and this guy, i can´t recall his name, was teaching how to make exotic drinks, then he begun with caipirinha, but that guy got the recepy all wrong, and he was telling that caipirinha is the tipical drink of Peru !?!
Everybody know that caipirinha is from brazil! probably he was mistaken by the name of the drink, that had caipirinha only in the name.
sad story…☹
