# Fade in/out quotes and xml line break PLZ HELP

here’s the code i am using that i got froma tutorial:

how do i make these two dynamic text fields fade in and out?

also, i do not know how to do a line break in the xml file. i looked at 20 pages of google search and i got nothing. please help.

the line break thing is not that simple my friend, i have tried it all, from /n to \<br\> to \<br /\> to weird characters, and I’ve searched everywhere. Seems like no one knows how to make a line break in xml. Also tried CDATA and that didnt work.

Also, Im not that great with flash, so I would need a step by step on the fade thing. Can anyone point me in the right direction…? Sorry its only my 2nd week using flash
