# Fading Grid in Mx2004 Pro Problems

I have worked with flash mx 2004 alot and I was trying to do the fading grid effect by voets. But I since that was placed back in Flash 5 the syntax messes it up so that when I test my movie I just get a white screen. It seems to me that the squares are just not fading. Can someone help me out here? I would appreciate it a lot.
