# Fading in an FLV

Hi all, I’d like to fade in an FLV playback component so the video doesn’t immediately appear, but even going from 0 to 100 alpha using a white overlay won’t work, no less using alpha fade on the component itself. Do I just have to fade from white in the video itself? TIA.
