# Fading problem flickering/bleed?

I haven’t used flash for a while but I always had this problem in the past and it still seems to be the case today…

When fading from white to alpha 0 on an MC either through the traditional way of using frames, or Actionscript… the fade never seems to be smooth and there appears to be some bleed/lines appearing??

Is this just flash or is it my framerate or something?

Other sites such as [pixelranger.com](http://pixelranger.com) dont seem to have this problem (e.g. when he fades from white to the butterfly image it has no lines/bleed).

Should I post my FLA or is there a quick fix?
