# Fading text moves... WHY?

I am simply making fading text, except everytime i make it (Flash 2004 pro) it moves, without me wanting it to, I never move it, can anyone provide an explanation and solution?

I had the same problem in MX2004 Pro when I used the built in transitions, but not when I use alpha - go figure.

I had some trouble and this solved it:
delete all the keyframes for the animation besides the original text box, and then convert it into a symbol. NOW create a new keyframe and try it. If you rely on flash to automaitcally convert the text to a symbol, it will elave the original text box and put a symbol at the second keyframe that your tweening to. the X and Y’s get @#%$ed and it moves it for some reason. Maybe that might help…
