# Fading using script

What’s wrong with this code?:

[COLOR=blue]on (release) {  
for (a=0; a=100; a) {  
symbol.\_alpha = a;  
a += 10;  
}  
}[/COLOR]

It causes my computer to slow down and then asks to abort the script because it may kill my computer. All I want to do is to fade a symbol
