im a noob flasher and i´ve been working on a random site for some pictures and other stuff made by me. it´s the first one i like myself so i´d like some good feedback on it, and some suggestions maybe? 🙂 its not totally done yet, still needs some work, but i´d like to wait with that until i get some feedback. link for site: [http://www.flaresite.tk/](http://www.flaresite.tk/) // Flare out ---

Not likin it. You have a rounded rectangle shape with some bevel and emboss. Looks like you didn’t spend much time on it. ---

Aha, some of the old Dj subtlety there.😉 I agree with Dj though, the site is too plain and basic. There’s not enough happening. Also, what’s with the sort of gashed writing in the title? It _looks_ like it got messed up in the tilting process. Try to put more colour and **_style_** into the design. Make it more personal. On the plus side I do kinda like the polaroid theme. Just my $0.02 (Even though that’s stupid 'cause I’m British.) ---

I think your tag (fun designs and other stuff) has a couple of problems. First, fun designs doesn’t seem to go at all with the style of images you’ve selected. They’re very dark and macabre. Second, other stuff, I don’t know, doesn’t sound very professional, but maybe that’s not what you’re going for. The splash is way too empty and doesn’t really spark any interest. Lastly I’m not a huge fan of the background color. I like how you’ve tried to make everything off-axis, there are very few right angles, but I think the site would benefit from some more extensive design work and polishing by means of static layout. ---

Yea I’m not feelin’ this one either. I especially didn’t like the enter button. I mean I thought by clicking on the link I would be entering your site…stupid me I guess. :lol: I agree with what was said about the rounded corners and I’d also like to see another colour for your main box, that brown isn’t very flattering imo. ---

i get what ur all saying 🙂 i made it very simple and stuff, cause i dont wanna do anything big that i would just end up correcting all the time… its just a small sample… the other things i´ve done were dumb and irritating… i kept it simple , and as u say " unproffesional " cause im nowhere near a pro… also, there´s no bevel, no emboss… made it with shadows and glows and a lil brushing… didnt take that much time, right about that one… and i still haven´t gotten into flash that much, but i will try to look into it, and make a lil more to it, dif colours and stuff. thx for the feedback 🙂 its useful. i´ve got a lot of interesting ideas, jus dont have the scripting to make it real… so that will come in the future… so next time i post, i´ll post something new then 🙂 thx anyways… ---

I dunno, I kinda liked it myself. I noticed it wasn’t an emboss by the way heh. Anyway, what I liked was the weird angles. Matched the whole picture theme you had going. Maybe try to liven in up by putting some textures on your background. That’s a simple way to add more life and not make it too complex. ---

hehe 🙂 well… one of the others said the light colours didn´t match the darker pictures, and thats true, so i thought… why not make the whole thing darker, use some more time on the design and make a lil creepy looking, so thats what i´m working on now… 🙂
