# File size

hies everyone…i’m wondering how can i obtain small flash files or maybe compressed it so that i can upload it to the web. Currently my files are larger then 1mb(and that is only one scene). I’ve deleted all unused items but still, the file size is big!! any ideas anyone???

I would really appreaciate your help!! Thanks !!!

Yes, break it up into many files and then load the files externally into one main file… like this: [Full Flash Site](http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx/full_site.htm) 😉

Are you using images? There are ways to make those smaller and compressed so flash can handle them better. And definitely load in file externally - sounds too if you have music on your site.
