# Files take longer to load than they should

Hi,

I’ve created a couple of sites that have extended loading times. [www.shoutbooking.com](http://www.shoutbooking.com) is 267kb and takes 30 secs to load on dsl! I’ve been to other sites that are the same size and they don’t take as long to load. another site: [www.abstround.com/calebcainmarcus.com/index.htm](http://www.abstround.com/calebcainmarcus.com/index.htm)  
Each swf is at most 70kb. Most around 35-40kb, yet they each take 8-12 secs to load. Would anyone know a cause for these extended loading times? Both sites utlize loading components. Is there a known bug in flash components? Notice on the calebcainmarcus site that they very first preloader is different from the others, that one is not a component.

\*note. I know that preloaders do not actually load the files, they tell the amount of time left, but could loader components, or something else, cause these files to drag during load?
