I want to find the cube root of an imaginary number. The formula I can use is De Moivre’s formula. I’ve no idea how to do it. Can anyone please explain it to me?

For example: (5.7037 + 2.8868 i )^1/3 = 1.8333 + .28868 i.

The formula is here: [http://www.answers.com/topic/de-moivre-s-identity](http://www.answers.com/topic/de-moivre-s-identity)

Thanks. :)[FONT=TimesNewRomanPSMT][SIZE=1][COLOR=#0000ff]
