I was just mesin’ around n’ this is what I came up with!
It’s in 3ds max!
I was just wondering if it’s possible to make fire in Cinema 4d!
Of course there r millions of other ways to make fire in 3ds max but this is my favourite!:chinaman:

Pretty cool syko. 3DsMax seems to be the trend in D&D now ☹ I can’t follow it ☹

Mdipi: I believe those are logs under it, so it is like a campfire.

lol yeah tied to make some buring stuff but didn’t come out right! 🙂
well actually I think I took a tute on this a while ago!
I just used a pArray for the fire! and the fire-like color is just a material added to the particle system!
Gotta go now! I’ll see if I can find the tute somewhere!

btw I found the tutorial! i think this is the one I read! So anyways here it is:

[EDIT] It’s a great way to make a fire like this because winds, gravity …every spacewarp can do something with the fire! [EDIT EDIT] also you can add deflectors to it[/EDIT /EDIT] [/EDIT]

mdipi: Right-click on the toolbar and select Tab Pannel. Then find the helpers tab and select one of the three Atmospheric Gixmos. Place one of these in the scene, then go to Modify \> Atmospheres Rollout, and add a Fire Effect.
