# First vector sketch

Hey guys! Last night I decided to take a deep journey into the valley of the PEN tool in Illustrator. I do have experience making logos and what not but I’ve never really taken a stab at drawing a sketch of myself. This is what I got so far after roughly 3 hours of work. And I have to say the hardest part of the entire thing is the face. I got very irritated doing it. But all in all, pretty much all I really need to do is add on the hair and color it.

That’s pretty bad \*\*\*. I couldn’t even begin to start one… Though I’m a little curious why the collar of your shirt is going through your neck…

Great work for your first! I think now you need to focus on flow and make each curve flow into the next smoothly to give it some dynamic fun!

By flow I’m guessing your talking about the connecting points and how some of them are sharp corners instead of smooth corners.
