# FL8: Cannot place components within MovieClip, why?

Top of the mornin’ to ya’ll,

I’ve got a lame situation. I need to utilize Kirupa’s tutorial of [scrolling](http://www.kirupa.com/developer/flash8/scrollbar.htm) for a visual playback. Problem is, I need to have multiple UI Combo Boxes components within the necessary contentMain\_mc.

When I make a movie clip with components inside it, their label display no longer functions or displays.

Any ideas around this?
