Keep getting the hourglass even when I am trying to add more content to this demo (keyframes, etc)

I am building this demo fla file that is about 3200 frames,
This doesn’t sound really that big.
Is there anything that I can do in the project that wil make it run/publish faster.

maybe delete the symbol instances after I use them??
any suggestions.

Is 3200 frames that big?

I am sure minus a couple external swf’s that a big full-flash website is somewhere around 1000 frames?—right

What should I do?
