# Flash 4 filesize limits?

Dear Kirupa,
I am a new user of Flash 4 (tutor is Flash 4 Help). I have been making making movies that involve a lot of color changes (not much shape change). I find that the program crashes often when the movie gets to be about 1500 frames or more.
I’ll try to get “Flash 4 Magic” soon, but do you have any suggestions in the mean time?

Hello,
What you may be able to do, is use the Load/Unload Movie command to customize the movie you need to load. I admit that 1500 frames is quite significant for a movie if it is run on a system with less Ram. You can publish your movie into separate individual movies, and by using Load/Unload, can load files needed and un-load files that are not needed.

(The Unload function does the opposite of what the Load function does)
