# \[Flash 8\] Actionscript Idiot Needs Assistance!

I have NO IDEA where to start with the ActionScript. Well I did have an idea but it wasn’t a very good one. I’m at the point where I don’t even know what to ask so I have attached the file that I have so far with the hopes that some ActionScript geniuses on the Kirupa forum will help me along.

I basically want to be able to click on each of the bars and have them expand over from the lef to the right (and vice versa).

All I have been able to do is get them to move from the left to the right when I click on them but not from the right to the left. Even if I were to get that working I don’t know how to preserve the order they are in so that, no matter what, no button is ever hidden. Oh and I want them to slide all nice and pretty as well.

I would be so ridiculously grateful to anyone who will give me a hand with this.
