# Flash 8 playing with Flash 7 plugin

I am having a problem with sending people HTML pages with Flash 8 banners or content … people who haven’t upgraded their plugin to 8.

The content will display, just not properly. Is there a way that I can add code to either my banners or the pages that hold them that will prompt users to get the new plugin? I have found workarounds for getting the latest player in a straight HTML page, but banners are presenting quite a problem.

Anyone who has had this problem or can offer some help, please let me know.
