# Flash 8 Publishing issue

I’m building a webpage using a searchfield based on the one that can be found on this tutorial page [http://www.kirupa.com/web/xml/examples/searchbestof.htm](http://www.kirupa.com/web/xml/examples/searchbestof.htm). My problem is that this tutorial was created using Flash 6. As soon as I publish it as Flash 8 all the URL stop working in the browser. They work outside Explorer (while testing on Flash player) just fine, but as soon as I open them through I.E. they stop responding. I would like to solve this without having to migrate it all back to Flash 7 in order to work. Can anyone point me the problem and a possible solution to make this work as Flash 8?
