# \[flash 8\] Restricting/Allowing navigation between pages

Here’s the thing. I’m implementing a navigation system into a project, that requires you to click a button, so that you may advance to other pages.

it goes like this: it is a slide-based navigation system, with 4 buttons. To advance to page 2, on page one you must click a button, and so on. Otherwise, no matter how much you click the button linked to page 2, it will never work. And the cycle continues.

I guess it’s not all that easy to understand…so i’ve attached a link to the .fla [the file does not have any navigation restrictions]

can anyone help me with this pickle?
