# Flash 8, using web services and security

Hi all, I am new to KIRUPA and so far liking what I see. I’m hoping to find some help too.  
I have a flash application (intranet) and I want to access a web service that is on a different web server/domain. I can make the connection just fine and return data if the webservice is local. However, when I put all the pieces into place web server and app server, i return no data and recieve no error. What am i doing wrong. What security am i missing from a flash standpoint.
