I am trying to learn some more action script to help me write a zombie-hunting game I have in mind.

So lets say I have “ZombieHunter.Fla” where I have the game loop located on the main stage and I want to instantiate an instance of my Zombie class, which I have written into a file called “Zombie.as.”

So on my main page in the “ZombieHunter.Fla” I have something like:

**Import Zombie**

**Freddy = new Zombie();**

In my “Zombie.as” I have the following:

\*\*class Zombie{ \*\*
**// constructor**

**public function Zombie()**
**{}**

**}**

My question is this: I have created an animation movie clip for my zombie already (with the correct actionscript linkeages in place). How do I attach my Zombie movie clip to the main stage using the constructor here? I know that I need to somehow pass in the main stage and the do an attachMovie on it – but I just don’t know what the “main stage” is called in flash? How do I go about passing the main stage to the zombie class to have the zombie movie clip attached to it there?
