# Flash Accessibility?

SO… I currently have this job that I’m workin on and the client wanted this “elaborate” look for his project. So he wanted it in Flash, and I comped up some things. Then he hits me back w/ you need to make sure this is accessible. Now… first… had I known this I wouldn’t have bothered comping something up w/ Flash intent. But now he wants me to make the Flash as accessible as I can. Using [http://www.macromedia.com/resources/accessibility/](http://www.macromedia.com/resources/accessibility/) as the guidelines.

Has anyone had any experience with Flash and making it accessible? Just how difficult is it to impliment? I’m reading the documentation on it… but there has to be a catch… cause if there wasn’t I’d think more ppl would be doing it.

And let me put this out there. I don’t want certain ppl coming in here on this thread and saying Flash sucks for accessiblity… that’s not what I’m askin. So to save yourself a few seconds typing, and increasing the risk of carpal tunnel, don’t bother responding… cause I’m not asking for that.
