Hello Everyone,

I hope you don’t think I’m trolling too much. I hope you take this in the light it’s intended.

Blender the open source 3D animation program has had a game engine for a long time, but just a week or so ago, some people published an open source browser plugin so that blender game engine games can now be played in your web browser.

Here’s a [YouTube video](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Gk3joJpaUY) of a quite interesting physicsy FPS demo, running in Chrome.

It’s not been sandboxed yet, so it’s not going to properly compete with Flash until that happens, but I was interested to know what people might think of it all. And remember this is open source so it could get sandboxed at any time.

I’ve also attached a couple of screen shots of the game running in a browser.

So do you think you’d be interested in using this in the future? Could it be the next big thing?

Here’s the site where you can [play the demo](http://www.tobedesign.co.uk/boxapocalypse/).

Here’s where you can [download the plugin](http://geta3d.com/) for Firefox, Chrome, Opera and IE on Windows and Linux.

By the way, the plugin is called Burster.

Cheers! 🙂
