I’ve read the article about getting info out of a .swf to a JSP, but what about the other way around, surely using javascript can’t be the only way!?!

Is it not possible to have your JSP output text/plain and just read it like an external script file?

I have actually tried this, but it didn’t work, the thing is I can’t understand why it wouldn’t.

Do you have any suggestions?

Sorry none. I’m not all too familiar with JSP and Flash. Try posting on Flashkit’s Forums by clicking the following link: [www.flashkit.com/board/index.php](http://www.flashkit.com/board/index.php)

I have not commented on this because I am too young enough in terms of experience in this field
