# Flash and XML

Hi, i have just worked through the posted “Photogallery using XML and Flash” ([http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx2004/xml\_flash\_photogallery.htm](http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx2004/xml_flash_photogallery.htm)), and everything works fine, however i would like to know how to add another/more text fields (which would be populated by the XML file) into the source FLA. I have added another child node into each \<pic\> node in the XML file, and added text fields and actionscript to source these, which works fine, but now the total of nodes that flash is reading totals only 1/1 ,and not the 7 that total the XMl file structure.

I’d really appreciate any help on this; think i may need to change the ‘total’ line statement, but i’m not sure. Thanks!
