# Flash AS3 Timer Event Errors

**[FONT=arial][SIZE=2]ActionScript 3 Error: 1180: Call to a possibly undefined method Timer.[/SIZE][/FONT]**

[FONT=arial]Error 1046: Type was not found or not a compile time-constant: Timer

Im getting both of these errors from my timer code in my main.as class.  
Im new to timers in as3.
