# Flash authorization form problem

Here is my problem, I am trying to submit to perl script an authorization code from flash (input box named accound\_name). I used this posting method: getURL(“[http://www](http://www).\*\*\*\*\*\*/cgi-bin/ath\_query.pl” , “\_self”, “POST”);. I don’t understand what is wrong with it. The old authentication part was in html and something like this: function submitTo(button\_descr) {//JD 7/14
