# Flash check for cookies?

Hi.

I have an asp script that checks if the cookie username="" and if it does it redirects to a logon page.

In other words if there is no username then it assumes they aint logged in, so dont allow the page to load and then it redirects to a login page.

simple and not safe i know

but it does the trick.

how do i get a flash movie to NOT load/play is the username is nothing???

user shared objects or load a variable from your webpage.

I just learned how to do it with php… but dont know how to do is asp or html.
