# Flash Desktop Application & XML

Hello, I am busy with creating a Desktop Application with Flash. It needs to be able to create buttons by way of user input. The (new) buttons are associated with files on the computer, so that when a button is pressed the file opens. I thought to do that by using XML. I know how to load XML in Flash, but I have no idea how Flash can write to XML and append nodes (new node \> new button \> new file).  
Anyone there can help me?
