Hey, all! I doubt this is the “proper” forum to post this question, but hey… I am sure one of you will have an answer for me! (Or so I hope!)

Anyway, I found the Flash detection tool [over here](http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx/detection.htm), and I am testing it on a new site. It seems to be working properly; however, the quality of the “detected” swf is quite poor in comparison to the natural swf.

Here be a screenshot from Firefox: ![](http://reaganator.com/poor%20quality.jpg) Flash detection » upper left; natural Flash code » bottom right

(Disregard that they are in odd locations… I set the div up with the width and height of the swf, and I did not delete the original Flash code… which of course I will do once I can get this issue figured out!) ![](http://reaganator.com/comments/super.gif)

Does anyone happen to have any suggestions as to how I can improve the quality of the “flash detection” file?

And here is the code I am using to make it run with the transparent bg

```auto
document.write(' <PARAM NAME=movie VALUE="xxx"> <PARAM NAME=quality VALUE=high> <param name="wmode" value="transparent"> <PARAM NAME=bgcolor VALUE=#FFFFFF> ');
    document.write(' <EMBED src="xxx" quality=high wmode=transparent bgcolor=#FFFFFF ');
```

Thanks for your help!
