MGH, an 80 person full service advertising and public relations agency is looking for an experienced, well-rounded Flash developer to work with our team to develop creative Flash-based, data-driven applications.

This role bridges the creative and technical aspects of development - with a little supervision and art direction, you’ll develop and implement microsites, games, banners, rich-media advertising, and other interactive applications. You must be able to work in and bridge the creative with the technical.

**Responsibilities:**

[_]Being responsible for executing complex designs, through code, that reflect the creative and art direction provided.  
[_]Shifting between a creative and a technical focus depending on the project need and/or the type of project.  
[_]Establishing front-end technology requirements.  
[_]Taking initiative to research and learn emerging technologies.

**Qualifications:**  
[LIST]  
[\*]An advanced knowledge of Flash and Actionscript 2.0 as well as demonstrated abilities in such areas as:

[LIST]  
[_]Image/animation size optimization  
[_]XML data import  
[\*]Flash/javascript communication  
[/LIST]

[_]Experience hand-coding D/XHTML, JavaScript and CSS  
[_]Ability to troubleshoot problems in Flash and XML  
[_]Proven ability to script complex animations and develop new presentation concepts  
[_]Experience developing and testing across multiple browsers, platforms, DOM implementations, etc.  
[_]Strong visual, layout and interactive design skills  
[_]Ability to create, optimize, and manipulate graphics in Photoshop, Illustrator and Flash  
[_]Exposure to, PHP/MySQL and content management systems (CMS) ideal  
[_]Understanding of good design principles and ability to adhere to complex design specifications during implementation  
[_]Demonstrated ability to accurately estimate and scope development work  
[_]Strong attention to detail
