# Flash displaying info from URL

Hi

I don’t know how to explain this and thats why the title is so ugly.

What I want to do is:

- I have a text field

- I want a name to appear in the textfield

- the name should be in the URL, for example: [http://www.mysite.com/clientName=“John”](http://www.mysite.com/clientName=%22John%22)

- the textfield should display Hi John!

Is this possible? How can I do it?
