# Flash Drop Shadows

Hi All, First timer here i have been using Flash for about a year and a half now and i have the basics down but i am by no means an expert so i use templates to improve mysel, i came across one recently called menu with slider and the effect worked but the problem is when i create a button with a drop shadow and import it into flash, it is smudged or distorted after i publish it or even when i test the movie using Ctrl & Enter. i tried importing the button and inseting the drop shadow in Flash using Insert / Timeline Effects / Effects / Drop Shadow and the shadow still does not come out as clean as i want it to can you help me??

here is an example of the image before and after i insert the effects in frontpage and publish it as a swf

Notice apart from the shadow not being clean the image quality decreases as well
