# Flash export to after effects

Hello, tried a search on forum, but couldn’t find my problem…  
I’ve created a series of animations in flash which I need to import to After Effects to composite (add lighting effects etc.). My problem is that no matter what I export the flash animations as (QuickTime Mov. PNG, GIF sequences etc.) it flattens the image, so I get the background colour of the flash animation, instead of just the face animation.  
Any help gratefully recieved…
