hi, I am trying to get going on some things, and so I open flash 8… I know I live in the dark ages huh, … and I see this flash form application. I have never used cs3 or cs4 so I dont know what they are like, nor do I use as3…

so Im looking at the form app layout, and it seems much more fitting for games than the timeline. Can anyone shed s9me light on this concept ?

I cringe at the idea of using the timeline for games, and the slide nature of forms seems to fit rather well for a login/title screen, and options screen, and a game screen, instead of bouncing between keyframes…

so, insight, links, clues ? anyone done games this way ?
