# Flash functions from html

I found this awesome tutorial on communication with flash from an html file here is the [link](http://www.moock.org/webdesign/flash/fscommand/index.html#javascripttoflash)

This is great to a certain point. How do I call a function in my flash movie from my html file?  
I tried this method \<a href=“asfunction:myfunction”\>link\</a\> and this method did not work. Does anyone now of a workaround ?
