# Flash intro page

ok so every flash site has an intro page where u can dl flash plugin, enter site, etc…

how do you do this?  
is it a seperate swf that connects to your main

and how do u put in the html code

In Flash 5 and MX, you can make your flash clip in \*.swf and \*.html format by clicking “file \> publish settings”. After you published your clip, then you’ll find that the \*.html is already connected with the \*.swf file! Simply!

just have flash publish the HTML…

It will write it for you.

You don’t need a splash page, it is a hold-over from past browsers, however sometimes a static, non-flash homepage is needed for search engines, and just to be generally neat and tidy.
