# (flash menu) help please with actionscript

[size=1]ok i have prelaoding and a scene before the menu  
so they do thier thing fine.  
then it skips the menu and on to the game???  
i tried

stop(); \<— this should stop the movie at the menu scene?  
start.onRelease \<— this should make it so when i click on start the game [/size][size=1] starts?[/size]  
[size=1]nextScene();

Instructions.onrelease  
[/size][size=1]next frame();

[/size][size=1] /\This should make it so when i click instructions it goes to the next frame with the  
| instructions on it.  
[/size]  
i thought this was all right? i guess not? can some 1 help me out

also does ne 1 know how to make a image roll over in flash?
