# \[Flash MX/2004/8\] Multiple SWFs on a web page

If I have 2 or more swfs on a web page, does anyone know if there is any way via actionscript or javascript or any combination for another swf to trigger something in another swf? This could be as simple as swf #1 changing the value of a variable in swf #2, or telling #2 to gotoAndPlay, whatever.

I apologize if this has been asked before. I couldn’t find anything similar via a forum search, but then I wasn’t terribly sure what keywords to search under, either.
