Hi, I created a flash button using the up, over, down, hit states. It worked great and I can place this button everywhere I want. But I can’t use it if I can’t put dynamically loaded text over it. I extract some information from the database and according to the received information the button must be created with a label (caption) over it. When I try to achieve this with a dynamic text field this doesn’t work since then not the whole button is clickable anymore. What should I do? Thanx, Marcel ---

Select your dynamic text box. Open the properties panel (CTRL+F3). There will be a little button in there that says “Ab” and the “b” has a black background. This button will be indented, this says that the text is selectable, if you click this button, it will disable the selection of your text, and it then it will work fine. ---

what if he need the text to be selectable lost? … if so … an invisible button would be my solution 😏 ---

forget about it … the text under the button wouldn’t be selectable then :sleep: ---

Why would you need selectable text on a button anyway:q: 😛 ---

Never said I didn’t want you here 😛 I know what its like to not have sleep, on occasion I don’t get any sleep for days (last time was 4 days in a row), and I was answering posts here and I think I was causing more confusion rather than helping 😛 ---
